So, we’ve been on a hunt for some secrets of the most talked about bodies in Bollywood. While Shilpa Shetty says her body is the product of good genes, other stars work their butts off to attain that A-list shape. From treadmills at the gym to yoga classes, Ballz has got the scoop for you!
Since
the break up,
Shahid Kapoor has been spending a lot of time exercising lately - and it shows! “I surely make it a point to exercise on the treadmill at least 15 minutes daily. I also try and workout one part of the body each day and if I am lucky enough to have time, I workout two parts,” he says.
The actor also reminds us of the importance of eating healthy. “I avoid fried foods and too much of aerated drinks. Oily, greasy stuff is a big `NO’ as far as my daily dietary intake is concerned.”

Hrithik Roshan’s killer bod just doesn’t make it self. The man works hard for it. “I train four times in a week. I do cardio three days in a week. Cardio is like jogging on the runner or skip for about 25 minutes. My weight training is very simple. I just keep it very intense, very short. I don’t train for more than 40 minutes.
I just do enough to maintain myself. I don’t want to get bulky,” says the man with the most perfect sculpted arms in Bollywood. “I believe your body is 90 per cent your diet. And diet one has to take control of,” he adds. “Eat the right food. I don’t eat butter, ghee, oil. I just eat grilled boiled roasted stuff.”

Shilpa Shetty recently released her highly publicised yoga DVD. She is said to practice yoga everyday to maintain that super slim figure. “…she believes it should be a way of life for everyone,” said Dale Bhagwagar her publicist.
Contrary to popular belief, Shilpa Shetty does not diet. “I’ve never done anything silly like the cabbage soup diet. Instead, just eat good, natural foods in sensible portions,” she says. So, what’s her secret formula for keeping the weight off? “Never snack - eating between meals just increases your calorie intake. Remember tea is always better than sugary, fizzy drinks,” says the 32-year-old actress. “And don’t eat after 8pm. I always eat at least three hours before I go to bed so my body has the chance to work off the calories,” she adds.

Shahid ex girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor credits her waiflike body to a balanced diet and a strict yoga regime as well. The once curvaceous actress who seems quite taken up by Hollywood has no qualms about looking emaciated, thanks to the demand for stick-thin leading ladies that are a rage in the west. It is also rumoured that she tried so hard to become thin that she actually fainted on the sets of ‘Tashan‘!
Despite reports of starving herself, Kareena insists her body is the result of hard work and was happy to reveal her healthy eating tips:
Kareena’s diet chart
1. Alternates breakfast with a bowl of muesli with nuts or two parathas and yoghurt
2. Lunch and dinner consists of chapatis with lots of green vegetables and dal
3. Snacks every three hours with nuts and milk for energy
4. No salads (she hates them) and no rice
5. Drinks two bottles of electral
6. Says she loves cheese and eats at least one slice because of its protein content and fatty acids
